This is the last of the eponymous Peter Gabriel albums reissued on Clarity Vinyl by Classic Records, in addition to So. The music on this album is a bit more rocky—and perhaps accessible—than its predecessor, and includes the hit single, Shock the Monkey.
The sound quality is very good for a commercial rock album, with little compression and therefore decent dynamics: modern producers and engineers take note! Pressed on four thick, flat slabs of Clarity vinyl, and with great packaging, if you’re a Peter Gabriel fan this one is a must-add to your collection!
